Yes, you can but you have to clear the first stage of JEE, i.e. JEE mains to get admission in any of the NIT. You can also get admission through other entrance exams such as NATA, NIFT, etc.

Yes it is totally worth to join DFS after being from a engineer background, infact 80% of my classmates are from engineering background. It is not that difficult to study finance from DFS.

In my opinion, the time for preparation is not good enough. You have to prepare well and take much time. It will be better, if you take one year preparation for the CAT.
1. Concentrate more for weaker sections of CAT.
2. DI and Logical reason needed greater attention.
3. Quantitative and English sections are good to score well.

Hi, Companies do consider your academic marks. Good companies have this thing in their eligibility criteria, they ask for 60-70% overall. But there are companies who ask for 50% also. So it depends on company and their eligible criteria. Along with MBA your graduation %age, 12th and 10th are also considered.

Yes. You can pursue B.Tech from any college. Try to have at least 70%. You need to prepare well for entrance examinations to get into IITs. Self study or coaching class will be suitable.
