In simple words, fashion designing is concerned with designing clothes whereas fashion technology is concerned with the manufacturing of cloth materials.
** Fashion Design :
-To join fashion design, a student needs to pass plus two and an entrance exam.
-On completion of the course one can choose to work in garment manufacturing firms or jewellery & leather industry. Or work as fashion coordinators as well as merchandising executives. Fashion show organizers also employ professionals of fashion designing.
** Fashion Technology :
-To join fashion technology one needs to pass in class 10+2. And needs to write an entrance exam.
-After finishing students of fashion technology can find jobs with textile mills as well as cloth store chains. In addition to this, boutiques and firms that make leather too take in professionals of Fashion Technology.
