Here is the basic eligibility for pursuing M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence:
Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Chemical or M.Sc in Geology / Geo Physics withminimun 60% marks

Sure career as a translator is good option as apart from being a translator you can work in processes where they require people who know that language or you can also apply for embassy's.
