Today, Journalism Course is one of the most popular courses amongst the students as it brings many career options.
The wages differ in newspaper groups and magazines. The minimum salary as per Government directive has to be Rs. 5500 to 9000 for reporters, and senior reporters, Rs. 6500 to 10500 for chief reporters and sub-editors. Editors get Rs. 7500 to 12000. Travel and stay expenses as well as allowances are additional with all pay packets. Free lancers are paid for each piece of work they submit. UGC NET is conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam. Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.
Age Qualification:
The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visua

If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program, then please remember in order to pursue this program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
Please note that, the final selection in full time MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students. i.e. 50% marks in graduation.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
5. Other activities like participating in various event like deb
