It depends on the eligibility criteria set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the admission policy of the MGR University in Tamil Nadu and the Andhra Pradesh state NEET PG counselling. Generally, the admission to MS General Surgery programs in India is based on the candidate's NEET PG score and rank, as well as their eligibility for the programme. In this case, it would be best for your son to check with both the MGR University and the Andhra Pradesh state NEET PG counselling to SEE if he is eligible for admission to the MS General Surgery programme in either location.

Hello Sukruti, many colleges for reasons known only to themselves do not publish placements data of individual course but publish for batch of college as a whole. But I feel that you should not worry much. AI is an upcoming branch with pretty wide applications. In four years time, when you will pass out, there will be tremendous opportunities for employment. Best wishes to you.
