Nothing is impossible. So, I would recommend you not to give up. There are still hopes that you might be able to get a job. I would suggest you to prepare yourself for interview in new startups as they look for good talent in case you are good in your IT skills, chances are that you can be hired. The important thing that needs to be considered is that you need to prepare yourself well in advance for the interviews as the interviewee shall grill you check your hold on IT skills. So if you know your subject well people shall hire you. Duration of completion if the degree does not play a big role. Your degree will be enough.

Yes, you can apply for UGC NET Home Sciences as DFSM is related to Home Sciences. The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam for the different subjects in India. A candidate can only appear in UGC NET for that subject in which he/she pursued the master degree. So, make sure you meet all the required eligibility criteria before apply. The NTA will conduct UGC NET twice a year. So, be updated with all the latest updates regarding the exam dates.
