LPU offers a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering with Lateral Entry for diploma holders who wish to pursue degree studies. Since you hold a diploma in mechanical engineering, you qualify and can apply for the B.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering at LPU. The lateral entry means that you would begin the course in the second year and thereby be able to reduce the length of the program to 3 years. 

The program covers areas of study related to the aeronautical discipline with a heavy focus on aircraft structures, propulsion systems, avionics, and support / maintenance practices.
