Admission to B.tech Programmes for the session 2013-14 will be starting soon. The online application form will be available by the 1st week of April on our website- http://mriu.edu.in/, please do visit our website regularly to be updated. To apply for admissions you need to first fill up an online application form. The admission is made on the basis of two criteria- 1. Merit in consolidated merit list with 60% weightage of JEE (Main) 2013 and 40% weightage of aggregate marks in qualifying examinations. 2. Merit in Qualifying Exam (In case seats remain vacant after exhausting preference no. 1) The minimum eligibility criteria for- 1. B-tech in (Aeronautical and Biotechnology) is Pass in 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including Physics, mathematics or Biology( in case of Bio-Tech) and English as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: a) Chemistry b) Bio Technology c) Computer Science d) Biology, from recognized Board/University. 2. And for B.Tech in (CSE, IT, Civil, Mechanical,ECE, Automobile, & EEE) is Pass in 10+2 examination with at least 65% marks (55% marks in 2nd Shift) in aggregate in 5 subjects including Physics, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: a) Chemistry b) Bio Technology c) Computer Science d) Biology, from recognized Board/University. As per your percentile in CAT, it would be difficult for you to get admission in good B-school, so I would suggest you to take a year gap and prepare for next CAT and various other management entrance tests like MAT, XAT, SNAP,etc and score well so that you get admission in good B-school of your choice.
Regarding preparation, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for various management entrance tests.
These institute offers regular and weekend classes, plus they conduct mock test on regular basis.

there is no excuse for being an average student and for all Course ,the general criterion is proficiency.so, make a big march from the state of averageness.
Every subject have its own importance and advantages .Only you want to decide whether which the following subject suit you or not.I suggest Please go through what your interests says.
Matter of weakness in maths,that is not a big deal because every subject seems to me tuff untill unless you try. So try hard,Because nothing is impossible.
