There is a standard procedure for it, you have to give an advertisement in newspaper asking if anyone found your mark sheet and declaring that it is lost. After you need to give an FIR in nearby police station with a copy of news paper cutting. After submission of FIR you have to collect a copy of FIR. With the help of newspaper cutting and FIR copy you can apply for duplicate mark sheet from your board's office.
