Gaurav, Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills & imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Retail management is one among the sectoral courses in BIMTECH. The Retail Management course in BIMTECH fares top in ratings.
Regarding placements, the official figures released last year for all the courses combined was around 5.75 lpa.
And the highest package can go around 10 lpa, if you perform really well, but it depends from year to year, and also if you are willing to go for off campus placements.

Yes. It is possible. Your work experience can be in any field. But, the purpose of doing MBA should be clear in your mind, so that you can communicate it in your PI round as well as you can clear it to yourself as well, because you will be leaving a job and will be taking a break for 2 years to study.
Other than that, you can go for executive MBA. In that course, you will find other students who have similar profile as yours and who might be more experienced then you as well, but the degree of learning you will get that in that course will be maximum, as you will learn not only from faculty (course related) but also from your peers, who will help you in understanding better working of their sector. Richardson, BFA in correspondence is avoidable and a waste of energy and time. Do consider a study in design as an option. Many people misunderstand the field of design. A good hold on design requires the best combination of literature, philosophy, psychology, and art. Same is the case for Game Design and Animation. If you opt for a skill zone then the best way is to enter through a diploma. the structure of the diploma at VFS (Vancouver) is very simple. they train for 6 months and then the next 6 months you are literally mentored for the field you want to enter. For e.g. if someone like you wants to get into Digital Design and wants to join Facebook, then you could get mentored by Trainers / Mentors from Facebook. That way facebook Mentors would have prepared you for their purpose and would have checked and improved your worth and most likely take you to their company for a job at the end of that period. VFS claims a placement success of 95%. I have a few suggestions. One is look at Digital Design - you would on the applied end of the illustrator's rainbow. Can you think about Game Design? I know, it sounds kind of repulsive to a purist, but consider this - VFS is giving 4 100% scholarships to women studying games. And they do have a good program.
