Hi Sanket,
If you are studying in the 1st year of engineering course and want to change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering i.e in the 2nd year then you can change the branch in 2nd year if your CGPA in the first year is minimum 8.5 or above and there are no backlog in any paper of 1st year. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you can change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering.
However, I would request you to contact your Head of Department regarding the procedure set forth by the college.

Hii Rajat! It will be good if you can give atleast MAT or GMAT level exam which is being conducted throughout the year. The latest will be coming in May. They are not so tough and so you can manage to score a decent percentile.
As most of the admission stretch out till June-July, so you can manage to get admission through that score.

Hi Rahul,
universities in India are not authorized to offer Distance BE courses after 2009 July 10. If you are only interested in Degree, go for AMIE. It is approved by MHRD. It is not that all the degrees are banned after 2009 through Distance Mode. Few people have limited knowledge on this. Do not fall pray of any advertisement or Article. Go for that and Enjoy your Valid degree. you can even apply for the Govt job after doing the course from this AMIE Calcutta.

For MBA minimum percentage required is 60. So you are not eligible for MBA. We do not have PGP or PGDM programs at MIT School of Management.
