All branches are best. it depends on what is your interest and core area .
you should study what you like . India is huge country we require everything , from a civil engineer to production engineer.
regarding placement i think it has approx. 50%

First of all after you complete your B.A you are eligible for any masters , but in your case PGDIBO is not a masters degree it is equivalent degree , But you check with your college , you should complete your B.A.
you can check with your college from where you are doing PGDIBO

You should do graduation (engineering) , than masters (mtech) and than phd. saying so it is not easy just check with your self which stream you want to go
