Admission is through counseling conducted by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology based on the rank obtained in National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE).
Candidates from SAARC Countries/ Least Developed Countries/ Foreign Nationals/ NRI/ PIOs can apply directly to the college. Admissions are made on first come first serve basis. Regards

Hope you are doing well. NITK considers category ranking for cutoff marks. For General, the ranking lies between 400 to 1450.
For OBC category, ranking lies between 450 to 1543.
For SC category, ranking lies between 45 to 650.
These all are the home state board ranking criteria. Other states students' criteria may vary.
