Because every top rankers want a govt clgs not a private clg . and one draw back of bits mesra is its a deemed autonomous university not supported by bits pilani . thats why students like it less but undoubtedly its a good clg with excellent managment

You can't get any of good college untill spot round in jee . i advice you to first secure an college in state and then wait till spot round may be u get something
