Dear Reynold,Yashwantrao Chavhan University is Open University established Govt of Maharashtra and programs are recognized for jobs and higher education, But in private sector whether the company consider it equivalent or not solely depend on their personal view.
Whereas Mumbai university is traditional university and programs are recognised all over india. It is very reputed university and there will b no problem for job and higher studies in any govt or private sector.
But another difference is you can pursue YCMOU program through part time or distance mode. This is not possible with Mumbai University.

SIEMENS training centres are available in metro cities and some other B category cities.Mumbai and Nagpur in maharashtra.
program duration ranges from 7 to 40 days.
covers SIEMENS S7 200, S7 300, S7 400 PLC & Drives
There are other Automation companies like Allen Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, ABB, GE Fanuc, but chances of employment of SIEMENS trained Engineer is 90% more than engineers trained in other companies as 90 %of the Indian companies use SIEMENS Automation.
