You will have to give entrance test as follows
language test -TOEFL, IELTS, PTE
Aptitude test-GMAT, GRE, SAT

Yes you can use text books in engineering but you have to refer more than one book for a particular subject and yes you can complete your syllabus in sufficienttime.

Depends on your taste and aptitude. If you have creativity and artistic skills like drawing, paintings,imaginations, Graphic Designing, Multimedia & Animation is the best choices for you.
There are some basic certifications or short term diploma courses which helps you to get a job easily. Ie :- Computer Applications , Office Suite / MS Office , Computerized Accounting etc.
