Please do not take stress,I would suggest you to devote more time in the section which you find difficult.
Please remember in order to get admission in good universities you need to have good GRE scores.
As per your query, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institutes which offers quality GRE coaching.
These institutes offers regular classes, weekend classes and conduct mock test on regular basis.

Please remember the history of backlogs would not affect your chances of getting a VISA, however please remember by the time you apply for VISA, you must have cleared all your backlogs.
Please make sure when you apply for VISA, all your financial and academic documents are complete and as per the order required by the VISA officials.
So, do not worry, if you fulfil all the eligibility criteria, you would surely get a VISA.
