Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR, Quants.
Verbal ability-
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. However, reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
DILR-
This is one of the toughest section especially from previous 2-3 years. Not only it is tough but it also checks how quick your senses are and how good you are in selecting the sets. Therefore, the best thing to sco

The thing that matters is what is your interest? ECE and CSE both have good career opportunities. A reputed institution is a good thing but remember you would be working in the chosen field for lifetime. So, focus on your interest first.

If you can qualify SAT exam which provides you the top university in USA and if your score is good in SAT and TOEFL, you may get 30-50% scholarships. Without any scholarship, maybe the money required is minimum 50 lacs. Mark my words for the top universities.

Hi Vikas , yes there are some provison for handicap student , alliance helps them in their higher studies with some concession in the tuition fees . You can check the details about the concession in alliance university website. You need around more than 50% in any of the common entrance exam.
