IIT Nagpur - Indian Institute of Technology will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cutoffs are based on factors such as Category, Performance, Seats Available and Competition. 
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

If a candidate's application is accepted, an offer letter will be sent to them that will contain conditions (if any) they need to meet for getting enrolled, course fee, and commencement date details. If the offer is conditional, it would imply that the applicant hasn’t met the university’s academic, English language or other criteria. The BTech stream-wise placement data has not been made public by the university. Based on the aggregate data presented in the NIRF report 2024, 199 students were placed at the Calcutta University BTech placements in 2023, out of 289 total. The placement rate is now 69% as a result. Previously, in 2022, 305 out of 357 BTech graduates found employment.
