As HR department in these companies have big number of employees so they pay according to the market standard.
But the package of HR having 8-9 years of experience depends on various factors such as:
1) Education background
From where did you do your MBA or your Master's degree?
2) Your previous experience
3) Are you the one who has the thinking ability to make policies, rules and regulations?
Such things come into picture while deciding your package.
But as I said the range from 6 LPA to 15 PLA is the more common package structure I have seen in most of the companies.

Hi Guneet, this will depend on what you want to do. You should know why you want to go to Canada for further studies and analyze your own requirements and interest. Without knowing what you want or plan to do in future, it is not possible to suggest you anything. See this link, it might help choosing courses relevant to your education background
