Candidate must have a valid score card of any of the above tests at the time of admission.
Shortlisting of candidates for admission will be based on: Indira Common Admission Process (ICAP) – 2016
Admission will be based on performance of candidates in following categories of ICAP:
Component IGI Weightages (%)
*Percentile score in Written Test of Identified Entrance Tests 50 % (150 Marks)
Group Discussion: 30 % (90 Marks)
Personal Interview: 20 % (60 Marks)
The percentile scores of different entrance tests will be normalized by using a multiplier.

WAT is basically an essay-writing test that assesses your analytical and logical skills. In WAT, one has to express creativity and solution for the subject. The aspirant is expected to write an essay on the provided subject in a certain period of time. The time frame for WAT may vary from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.
The subject of WAT could be anything from current affairs to abstract topic.

1. The only way to improve your writing skills is daily practice. Make it a habit to write a page daily on any topic or idea or express your opinion on any current topic.

3. Improve your grammar. Refer to basic and good books on English Grammar and Comprehension. You can also refer to dictionaries for to see the meanings and interpret accordingly.
4. Initially you might make lot of mistakes. However, with continuous practice, things will improve.
5. Keep the language very simple and form short sentences.
6. Do not use strong and difficult words.
7. Avoid becoming preachy in your content.

There are huge opportunities in this space. Look at the areas where India faces a problem, some of which I will list below:
1. Making our students employable - many of our educational institutions provide education which unfortunately has not been designed to the needs of the industry that provides those jobs.

In many of these there are governmental nodal bodies that help with finance if you are willing to do it but you need to be prepared to deal with all the issues one faces when dealing with the government. If you decide not to use the government help please remember you will compete with government funded companies/bodies that effectively provide these services for free though in a very inefficient way.
