The minimum eligibility to apply for the UGC NET exam, the candidates must have completed the post-graduation degree. The UGC NET exam is organized for more than 81 subjects and candidates are suggested to apply for their post graduation subject or its related subject only. As you have completed the B.A. You will be eligible to apply for UGC NET subject after completing the master's degree. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year for the selection of assistant professor and junior research fellowship. Candidates will be required to qualify WBJEE to appear for the counselling process. However, admissions through the WBJEE counselling will completely depend on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. To have a higher chance of admission into their preferred course and college, the candidates should meet the respective WBJEE cutoff. Candidates are advised to check the previous cutoff trends to understand the range of ranks that have to be obtained for admissions into their preferred colleges and courses.
