You have scored 64% in 10+2 and above 95 percentile in JEE Main B.Arch 2025, and not fulfilling eligibility 75% board for NITs/IITs through JoSAA, however, if board cutoff applies in your favor, you can qualify under the top 20 percentile clause.

About 95+ percentile (rank ~5,000-7,000) have bright chances to get into NITs such as NIT Trichy, NIT Calicut, or NIT Hamirpur for B.Arch, which had 2023 closing ranks of 1,000-6,000 for open category (OBC slightly higher). One other option is SPA Bhopal or SPA Vijayawada (closing ranks ~2,000-5,000). Reservation helps a lot for the OBC ranks.

No formal verbatim in favor of JoSAA reducing eligibility cut-off percentages for B.Arch. courses for the OBC category in 2025. The current eligibility criteria stand at 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or amongst the top 20 percentile of the board along with qualifying in JEE Main Paper 2.

Relaxation for the OBC category is applicable only for those seats that are reserved with rank-based cut-offs. There is no relaxation regarding aggregate marks. Trends since 2019 do not provide much scope for change in eligibility. Especially, changes in the eligibility criteria will require clearance from the MHRD

If you've unknowingly completed your B.Ed. from Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad (BSP), UP, which is not recognised by UGC or NCTE, here's what you can do:

  1. Verify Recognition: Check the UGC  and NCTE websites to confirm BSP's status.

  2. Legal Advice: Consult a legal expert to explore options, including filing complaints if needed.

  3. Pursue a Valid Degree: Consider enrolling in a recognised institution to secure a legitimate B.Ed. degree.

  4. Future Caution: Always verify an institution's accreditation before enrolling.

Hope this helps.

Govt. schools of theatre and acting are a rare commodity in Jaipur. The Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is a government-funded project devoted to cultural activities, organizing theatre-related workshops and short-lived acting courses through its Rangayan project. However, it is not strictly an acting school.

The Rajasthan School of Arts is a government institution affiliated with the University of Rajasthan and offers a degree course-B.A. in Dramatic Arts, specializing in theatre and performance. Admission requires 10+2 with 50% marks, although auditions or merit-based selection may also apply. No other significant government acting schools
