Always remember, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals.
After B.Tech in ECE you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch. To join M.Tech you need to sit for GATE exam.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line. For MBA, you need to sit for CAT, MAT, XAT etc.

Two courses- one regular while the other correspondence, is valid and acceptable.
However, it is advisable that you consult the respective university/college and also speak to U.G.C officials for the right guidance.

3. Register under Bar Council of India- Practice as a lawyer
4. Work with a solicitor for minimum 3 years
5. Pass the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test
