I'm assuming you already know what you're inclined towards since you're talking about pursuing an executive MBA. Is there a chance you'd want to pursue an MBA in the field you're currently working in? Because according to me, getting an MBA in a field you already have experience in will only be a feather in your cap and help you get to higher management position. I'm considering a distance MBA and have been reading ICFAI University reviews, hence wanted to share my opinion. Good luck!

Blindly applying for the best MBAs can waste your time and money. If you don't meet their eligibility criterias (which are easily known), there's no point applying. Top B-schools have incredibly high cut-offs for both school and CAT/MAT scores (90+). Browse b-schools to see which ones you're most eligible for first. Intstitutes may maintain active reviews forums, like ICFAI does - go through them to see if the alumni and staff are people you may connect with. Finding the right fit is a lot better than finding the most prestigious fit.

Ramesh, for hotelling except for office tools, there is not much required for your current job. I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example i
