No, NID DAT (Prelims) is not compulsory for admissions to BSc courses. The admission process for BSc courses is merit-based. Except for BSc in Gaming and UI/UX and BSc in Animation and VFX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference. Therefore, just for these two specialisations, the university considers the scores of the NID DAT (Prelims).
