For B.A English Honors- the examination is divided into two parts:
1) Objective Type: It consists of questions on Vocabulary, Grammar and Literary Knowledge.
2) Subjective Type: To test candidate's aptitude for Literature, Analyzing Skills, Creativity and Imagination of students.

Letter/Article writing
I would recommend you to study HSC (10+2) syllabus of the English subject, thoroughly. The focus should be mainly on grammar and literature. And also concentrate on areas like Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Jumbled paragraph, Sentence correction, Comprehension, Syllogism, Grammar, etc.
