Dear Maryah, We would generally look for a first class degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian instituition. We would consider 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc. Graduates from the IITs and IIMs would be considered with marks around 55%. Regarding specifics, we would also look for the following:
first or upper second class Honours degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, zoology or botany. Candidates with various combined degrees of a British university or equivalent in terms of experience, and/or degree of another country, are also welcome to apply

Hi Kiran, you should consult a NEW ZEALAND SPECIALIST AGENT with all relevant documents. To be honest, prima facie, your case does appear to be weak because of multiple reasons. Having said that, you must not give up. Let me re-emphasize, you must contact an NZSA to discuss your case. Your visa refusal letter will be extremely important for them to assess your case & give you an ethical, professional guidance. Please feel free to contact me for any queries. All the best for your future.
