Yes you can be a dietician but not clinical dietician.as to healthy human beings you can suggest diet for better life style.but for patients always a person with science/medical background is preferred.also you can practice independently.as in jobs always science people will get preference.however you can always get evolved and i have seen people with non science background doing very well in this field.all the best.
