The future is purely dependent on computers and robots.
The mechatronics engineering includes mechanical, electronics and little of computer science engineering. So if you are a mechatronics graduate, then you can be easily placed in a job in the future. But you need to update and upgrade yourself a lot to be successful.
There is a good scope for mechatronics in the future.

Yes, the students from other states can also apply for TNEA counselling. For that, you need to meet the required eligibility conditions. You need to apply for counselling at www.annauniv.edu. I think the applications have been closed on May 31st and the counselling process is about to start.
