Hi Vibhor, you have good chances to get a campus in Chennai.
You can also get ECE branch but I'm not sure whether you can get ECE at SRM main campus because your rank is not enough to get the main campus.
Use the rank predictors to know the list of other courses. The counseling dates are not announced so wait for the counseling and proceed.
All the best!

Hello Sridevi,
With a rank of 43,000 it is very difficult to get computer science engineering course at VIT Vellore even through management quota.
But you may try for other campuses which will not be equal to Vellore campus.
The fees will be around 6-7 lakhs per annum or even more.

It is totally up to you. If you want than you can get good rank in JEE and go into IITS or NITs and grab the placements. Rather than take admission in any state Government College and prepare for GATE and take PSUS.

There's almost no chance of getting computer science.
Try other branches but being a general category student you won't be able to get good colleges.
I would suggest you to try private universities or try next time.

Hi Ravish,
You have to take the GRE and TOEFL to study MS in USA. Universities also require four year Bachelor degree. In case you have a 3 year degree then you need to check with the universities and get your degree evaluated.
