NMIT is college for BE courses in various branches such as ISE, ECE, CSE and mechanical engineering. It depends on which course you are applying for. If you go for ISE and CSE then it is one of the best college because placements are good. But for other branches placements are average. Good companies came here every year. So go for top branches. As it is autonomous college so marking scheme is also good.

Hello Sandhya, Admission process is based on Merit, SRMJEEE and some exams such as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. It's completely based on number of seats available, based on one's merit in Entrance exams/previous board exams. There are no seat reservations in SRMAP. Even NRI's/ International students must go through some process for admission. I hope this helped.

Hello Sandhya, yes, Hostel Facilities are offered by SRMAP. There are different towers assigned for girls and boys with good infrastructure. But there is this one tower named as Vedhavathi, it's totally not worth the money you'll be paying for the hostel facility, there is no ventilation for Washrooms & Bathrooms at all (resulting in bad smell). Reports (from other juniors and seniors) say that Rats/Bugs were spotted in rooms. And Bunker beds in Vedhavathi are dangerous, since the rooms roof height is really low some students had cuts in fingers (resulting in sleeping on Floor, which leaves no space to walk at all). I request you to no
