I think you may go for English (Hons) because there are only 3 courses for which DU is most famous (maths honours, English honours and eco honours). English honours has a good scope, after doing graduation, you may go for any MNC if you have a good accented English, or opt for journalism and mass communication field or you can do Master's degree and become a professor/lecturer, another include editing, blog writing, etc. If not English (Hons), I would suggest you any language course. If you think you will achieve your goal after a drop then you should go for it. But if you have doubt about it, then you should not take the risk. And if you are getting Thapar, then go for it. Its fee is lesser than UPES and it has good placements as well. Thapar has its own reputation. After Thapar, I will prefer UPES.

Wellm in that casem you can use your 10th class mark-sheet as DOB, and yes, Adhar card may be considered as Document for DOB during your admission.

Hi,
MBBS Eligibility:
The basic eligibility for admission in any of the Medical Colleges is 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English. However, this is not the only criteria for admission; the students have to take an entrance exam in order to prove themselves fit for the admission in any of the medical colleges. The major entrance exams are AIIMS Entrance Exam and NEET Exam. All the best.

Congratulations for your rank, now first of all, for your admission, you need to check how many seats does the college you want to go have and after that you need to see the cutoff list for your category viz general, OBC etc. And after that if you qualify for the cutoff, you shall get a seat.
