There is no difference. You both got same facilities section etc. only the difference is u came from direct admission and other came from entrance. Some scholarship issue are also there, but it manage.

See every college has its own criteria for taking admissions. Now, it is completely on the college in which you are applying (which is not mentioned by you) has set its criteria. Some college ask for 45% in 12th, some have a criteria of 55% and some college have 60% criteria.
