Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus is a private, self- Financed Engineering College affilated to AKTU, Lucknow. It is approved by AICTE. The RBS college group itself (especially RBS college of Agriculture) is a government aided institution and is very old but Engineering Technical Campus is under private/self financed category.

Basically BIT Gorakhpur is affilated to AKTU and odd sem exams are usually held int the month of January-February and even sem exams in the month of june -july. The semester results are declared at BIT in the two months after the completion of semester exams. The results dates can be checked on AKTU web site portal.

The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the Buddha Institute of Technology (BIT Gorakhpur). The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025. Faculties at Buddha Institute of Technology (BIT Gorakhpur) are highly qualified and educated with most of them having PhD and Mtech degrees. Some professors are best in teaching their course content while some focus on traditional exam focused methods. Most of the faculty members at BIT are higly qualified and well versed in their teaching skills holding M.Tech or phD experiences. The faculty members are approachable and helpful towards students However the teaching quality varies and early experience like in first year you may find them less engaged or practical and your self-motivation will play a crucial part in your journey. Some professor are strong in teaching their course while others deliver only the traditional exam-focused methods.
