SIMCA, that is Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application, Pune, is usually fine with the students. Most report that the teachers are well-credentialed, helpful and personable, and that such qualities make learning the topics easier, though others say they wish the teaching was more hands-on. The college has a good infrastructure and campus but placements are not that good, average placements are there with avg package of 4-5 lac per annum. On the whole, it may be a good option for you if you are after a very collegiate style of campus life.

Now, the team at Kopal Institute of Science and Technology, as a whole, are largely considered to be competent, and helpful. Lots of teachers are knowledgeable and do their best to help students with queries. Some people believe that a couple of professors need to lean more into the practical side of teaching, but overall, a good group of professors who help you during exams and projects.

Kopal Institute of Science and Technology students get jobs in many different companies. Some work in big IT and consulting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Deloitte, while others join construction and manufacturing firms like Vedanta Sterlite Copper, Awasthi Construction, and Seitz India. Some even get jobs in government companies like BSNL and BHEL. This shows that KIST students can work in many fields after their studies.

To apply for Kopal Institute of Science and Technology, for B.Tech you should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with around 45–60% marks (relaxed marks for reserved categories); for M.Tech you need a relevant engineering degree plus a valid GATE score; and for Diploma courses you should have passed 10th or 12th depending on the program.
