The application process is straightforward: If using TNEA, register through Tamil Nadu's common portal once Class 12 results arrive, choose NCT as preferred college, and take part in counselling and seat allotment rounds. If opting for direct admission, you fill out the college's form online or offline submit your scorecard and ID proof, and hand over the application. The admissions office then guides you through fee payment and registration. Either way, they keep students informed, helping make admissions a positive and simple experience.

Open (OC) category TNEA closing ranks in 2024 did range from about 18,448 (Computer Science) to 80,166 (Information Technology) . Electronics and Communication Engineering closed at around 56,075.

Vocational marks had cutoff for OC students in ECE and IT branches were around 132–134 out of 200 .

So if your TNEA rank is under a rough 80–90? k for general category, or your vocational marks are in the 130+ range, you stand a good chance at NCT.

Candidates have two options: TNEA counselling or direct management quota entry. For TNEA, sit for placement based on your Class 12 marks and secure a college seat via the state process. For direct entry, approach the admissions office, submit the required documents, and leave the rest to their team. They focus on clear communication and personal support. Whether you prefer official channels or a more direct route, NCT keeps the journey welcoming and efficient.

To join NCT, you can apply through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) or directly under management quota. Eligibility requires passing Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and meeting minimum aggregate marks. Through TNEA, your selection depends on rank and choice preference. Management quota entries involve direct application to the college along with academic documents and fees. In every case, the admissions team supports you and helps clarify doubts.
