If you take B.Sc Computer science you restrict yourself only to programming and you study less about information systems but in case of B.Sc IT you focus more on information systems and you will have more options in management of systems. Simply the B.Sc CS people will not have more knowledge in management of systems and networks.
Some of the jobs related to information systems are: Programmer, Programmer Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, System Administrator, Customer Engineer, Field Engineer, etc.
Out of the two, B.SC IT has greater job opportunities as they are introduced to wide range of computing like financial accounting and management, database designing, software engineering network and information system etc. B.Sc CS degree holders generally prefer to pursue higher education however they can seek for job in IT companies as software testers and software developers.
B.SC CS is a more academic course, and focuses mainly on mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing while B.SC IT is a professional course, designed according to the needs of the IT industry.
