NExT syllabus has been released with new National Exit Test Regulations 2023. NExT Step 1 syllabus comprises six subjects while NExT Step 2 includes seven subjects. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 204475. In 2022, it increased to 215620. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 204475 to 56879 for OBC, 204475 to 56879 for SC, 204475 to 56879 for ST, 204475 to 56879 for EWS, 204475 to 56879 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

For last year, the closing rank for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 215620 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Yenepoya (Deemed to be university).

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) other than General category are - 56879 for OBC, 56879 for SC, 56879 for ST, 56879 for EWS, and 56879 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 188966 and closing rank was 215620. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
