IMI Bhubaneswar provide 3 kinds of scholarships: 

1. PGDM (full time) Pre admission scholarship: 

• Merit scholarships: Candidates with outstanding careers and at least an 80 percentile in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT or at least an 80% in GMAT are eligible for scholarship funds. Up to one Lacs rupees.
• Merit scholarships (female): Female candidates who meet the following conditions will get an extra merit scholarship of 20%.
• Defence personnel: Wards of defence personnel are eligible for a Rs. 50000 scholarship.Wards of Martyrs are entitled for a Rs. 1,000,000 scholarship.

Please note that you can only apply for one of the pre-admission scholarships listed above. The first half of the scholarship will be distributed at the completion of the first year of PGDM, followed by the second half at the end of the second year. A applicant can choose between two tuition fee waiver options.

2. Tuition Fee Waiver for PGDM (full-time): All students with a total family income of less than Rs. 8 Lacs per annum are eligible for Scholarship under the Economically Weaker Section. Scholarships for economically disadvantaged students will be available up to 5% of the institute's total admission.

3. Post-Admission Scholarships: Merit scholarships are offered for great overall academic performance after admission. Summer internship scholarships are given to emphasise the importance of summer internships and to encourage students to put up their best effort.
