Dear Hemraj, As per the direction from Nepal Govt, Ministry of Education, Tribhuvan University Nepal had decided not to consider one year Sr. Secondary Program of NIOS as equivalent with Two years Sr. Secondary Program of HSEB Board Nepal. Basically, they argue that NIOS Sr. Secondary course is only of 1 year whereas 10+2 program means it should be of 2 years as it is in HSEB Board of Nepal. Nepal Govt. might be worried that if 10+2 program can be completed in 1 year in NIOS and considered equivalent to their HSEB Board (The only 10+2 Board of Nepal) which student are going to pursue their programs.
