Beside doing a relevant degree course, there are some more attributes to become a journalist:
1. Good verbal & written communication.
2. Analytical approach
3. Ability to create data base & analyse.
4. Determination to work on lead stories through systematic spade work
5. A suitable personality, if you want to be in TV
Although, you can pursue MA in mass communication, it is not really necessary if you have the above attributes.
