Here are the steps to apply for an undergraduate programme at Birmingham City University:

1. Visit the UCAS website and sign in or create an account if you haven’t already done so.
2. Fill in the required fields on the application form.
3. Submit your application along with scans of your original academic transcripts and certificates.
4. Complete the Equal Opportunity section, which is required by UK law

International aspiring applicants must apply for their applications by the deadlines specified. If an application is sent late, the dates are set appropriately. Below are the dates for enrolling on-time and late submissions.

Note- Deadlines vary depending on the course and can change frequently. The university encourages students to check the school or department’s website for proper deadlines.

 For international aspirants, the application fee for applying to various undergraduate courses via the UCAS admission portal is GBP 22.50 when using one course. The application fee is GBP 27 when applying for multiple courses via UCAS. Graduate applicants may apply directly through the university’s application portal free of cost. It means that the international aspirants are not charged any fee at the time of graduate application at Birmingham City University.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class XII) is required for most of the programs at Birmingham City University, with a minimum average of 55% based on the exam board. However, specific courses involve a higher score. 

Eligibility for BTech:

• Requires either a minimum of 65% in Mathematics is expected in the 10th grade from both the CBSE and the CICSE Board, or

• Mathematics at a minimum of 65% in the 12th grade is needed for BEng Telecommunication and Networks, or

• Both engineering classes require a minimum of 65% in the 12th grade, with 65% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

To apply for admission, interested students need to provide some documents as part of the application process to Birmingham City University.

 Eligibility to apply for MS at BCU:

1. Requires either a 3 or a 4-year bachelor’s degree (depending upon course requirements)

2. Atleast 55% scores (50% from top universities) from a recognised degree. Some courses will need the applicant to have higher grades

3. Engineering courses need the applicant to possess a 3 or 4-year bachelor's degree, with 60% overall (55% from top universities)

4. English Language Proficiency score 

Applicants who wish to apply for MS at BCU can apply through the following ways:

Direct to the university: An online application form has to be completed and the same has to be submitted along with the scanned original academic transcripts and certificates. Applicants also need to complete the Equal Opportunity section, which the UK law requires.

Through a country representative: The in-country representatives can assist one in completing the application and applying for a visa. They will also give suggestions related to travel, living in the UK as well as studying abroad.

Apart from CAT scores, Alliance School of Business offers admission to MBA course through other entrance exams including MAT/NMAT/Karnataka PGCET. Candidates seeking admission to Alliance School of Business admission to the full-time MBA courses must have a valid score in above mentioned exams. Considering the Alliance School of Business cutoff 2024 released recently was 70 percentile for CAT. For MAT, it is 80 percentile. • A graduate-level professional qualification in a relevant field of study.

• BCU approved pre-masters programme.
