Choosing a university is a very big decision. It decides the future, career, and life. Many people get confused when picking between LPU and Chandigarh University, both are good universities but then also there are some small points which make the difference.

But some say it focuses more on promotions than real quality. Placements are good, but mass recruitment is common and high-package jobs are rare.

Yes — you can get admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU) for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) with 76% in Class 12 for the 2026 session, provided you meet the eligibility and entrance criteria. At LPU, the basic requirement for B.Tech CSE is at least 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (PCM & English), and you must qualify LPUNEST (LPU's own entrance test) or have a valid JEE Main/CUET score (some high-scorers may get direct merit consideration)

Your 76% is above the minimum 60% threshold, so academically you are eligible to apply. However, admission is not based on 12th marks alone — you will generally need to

It would be a good choice to opt for LPU as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all-round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. I would say Integrated course at LPU not just save a year but is financially compatible as well. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements.
