Being a chef is one of the good career option as it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities not only in India but across the globe.
Professional chefs may find jobs in hotels, restaurants, air catering, food processing companies, catering in confectioneries, cruise liner, corporate catering, etc.
Departmental catering services of defence and railway departments are also open to them.
The earnings of chefs, head cooks, and food preparation and serving supervisors vary greatly by region and the type of employer.
Earnings are usually highest in upscale restaurants and hotels, where many executive chefs are employed, and in major metropolitan and resort areas.
The pay scales may vary from place to place, a new entrant can earn about Rs. 15,000 to 25,000 per month.
After gaining 5-7 years of experience, one can easily earn up to Rs.50 thousand to Rs 60 thousand per month.
As you reach the top and become an Executive Chef, your salary can be anywhere between Rs. 1 lacs and Rs. 2 lacs per month.

If your qualifications meet our requirements and we believe you could benefit from study at Glasgow, you will receive an unconditional offer.
If you haven’t yet gained the necessary passes for entry to your chosen subject(s), we may look at the qualifications you are taking when you apply and make you a conditional offer.
