Yes, by a 90 percentile, you can easily get some of the colleges like COEP and NIT-Nagpur, but you can not get the core branches easily. It will depend on the cut-off rank more. As per if you are interested in VIT you can give separate examination for VIT.

Hi,
you got an unreasonable score in JEE Mains. But, there are very fewer chances to get good IIIT. If you need to get a good IIIT then and you must have to score above 98 percentile in Mains. I will suggest you focus on April Mains examination and score more marks.

As per his percentile, he can get a good NIT, but he cannot get a core branch in the top or medium NITS. He can get some Eastern NIT or NIT Jammu with good core branches easily.
