UPSC exams are conducted in two phases: Preliminary test (CSAT) and Main Written Test. CSAT: It is an Objective type examination consisting of Two Papers that is common to all candidates from 2011 having special emphasis on testing their aptitude for civil services as well as on general knowledge.Main exam:Those who qualify the CSAT exam are shortlisted for the Main exam. It is a descriptive (essay type) examination. The General Studies, Essay paper, English Paper are common to all candidates and with this a candidate has two optional subjects to choose from the given options and a language paper of his / her choice.

Hi Vishal, congratulations on securing offer from both these universities. Both Universities are well known for their Engineering courses and extensive lab facilities that they provide to their students. Keeping in mind the career outcome you want in my opinion you should go for Bristol as the university has a few modules that would help you to become one. As far as course offered by Sheffield is concerned its very much in details and is offered in collaboration with a few other departments which will be very useful. All in all you should also take opinion from your faculty in college (UG) before you make a decision. Do go through the modules.

As you are interested in Mass Comm, there is no such need of an educational background, it only requires interest, dedication, awareness and strength. Mass Comm is a very broad term which includes many things such as journalism, production, direction, cinematography, advertising, PR etc. Kindly refer to the below link to get a better idea.

Hi Anukrit, a MSC in the subject is difficult to find. While looking for your course I came across MBA in Finance Management - Investment Banking and Wealth Management offered by SP Jain Centre of Management. This course requires 2-3 yrs work experience and a GMAT or CAT or SPJAT. Or else MDIS offers a MS in Banking and Finance if it interests you. If going to UK interests you then University of Glasgow (a well known univ and always in top 15) offers a MSC in Investment Banking and Finance.
The cost of studies in Singapore will come to about 10 lacs per annum including living expenses and in the UK i will cost you 12-14 lacs including living.
