Hello Lopamudra,
There is no cut-off as such. B.Com in Symbiosis College is based on an entrance test followed by GD-PI. The total score of all three stages in the screening process decides whether or not you will secure a seat.

The growth of automobile sector is pretty good so you should definitely go for this specialization rather than going for some traditional BBA field. Under BBA in Auto Marketing programme you will get exposure to various aspects of the automobile industry, will develop skills to manage challenges faced in sales and marketing of products and allied services.

No, you are not eligible for most courses at Lovely Professional University with 49% in 12th, because the minimum requirement is usually 50% in aggregate.

Some diploma or foundation-level programs may allow admission with slightly lower marks, but for regular degree programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, BBA, or BCA, you will need at least 50%. Compared to many colleges with stricter rules, LPU still maintains this eligibility limit, so you may need to improve your score or explore alternative programs.

Well, if we're going to compare both of these colleges then the first thing that comes to my mind is the poor infrastructure of JIMS compared to DSB, and the benefit of dual specialisation with both of them being major is with DSB and not JIMS. DSB has a 100% placement record too. So, according to me DSB will win the cake when compared to JIMS.
