The course includes the study on the factors affecting environment and its associated ecosystem. Yes IMED is a very good institute for MBA. The campus is really big and the faculty over here are all P.h.D & experienced. It is a complete knowledge learning centre.
The placement over here is excellent. 135 companies visits the campus every year for recruitment. The highest package offered os 14 lac p.a. A lot of big & well knowed companies visit the campus. The placement is 80-90% every year.
It is surely a better option for doing MBA.

IIMA offers a research level degree in the similar line as PhD called FPM (Fellowship program in Management). I do not have the exact details as I am a PGP student. You can find out more details about FPM on IIMA's website.
