MAT application fee is not refundable. Candidates, while filing the MAT application form must make sure they have not made any error in the form so that they don't have to fill a fresh form and pay the fee again. There is no form correction option available either in MAT so in case they want to make any change in the MAT application form, they will have to fill a new form.

No, there is no provision to change MAT exam mode from PBT to CBT or from CBT to PBT after you have completed the registration process. You will have to appear for the exam in the mode selected in the application form and in the test city mentioned in the already submitted form. SRM typically requires minimum 50% PCM (45% for reserved categories) in Class 12, alongside a valid SRMJEEE rank (or JEE Main in some categories). For CS/AI/ML, the rank matters far more. Make maths compulsory (unless you're going for certain tech lite programmes). Always re-check the current year SRMJEEE brochure—they sometimes tweak cut offs and eligibility language.

In private colleges, qualifying NEET (40 percentile—usually ~ 110 to 132 marks) is enough for eligibility, but the actual closing scores are usually higher due to demand. Expect SC seats to close well below General, but still meaningfully above the qualifying floor. Budget wise, plan INR 30 to 50 lakh total (tuition + hostel), varying by college. Track MCC AIQ + State CET Cell Maharashtra separately.
